Typically apply for jobs taking LESS THAN 8 HOURS.
Examples: replacing electrical sockets, installing shelves,
pictures, mirrors. Replacing a leaking tap, etc.
TIME ON SITE RATES
EXAMPLE: Painting (Interior & Exterior), Furniture Assembly, Hanging mirrors & pictures,
Fitting & Fixing Locks, Commercial & Office Decorating, Shower Screen Installation, etc.
EXAMPLE: Toilet & Shower Repairs, Repairing Taps, Radiator Valve Repairs, Unblocking Toilets, etc.
EXAMPLE: Replacing Transformers & Lightbulbs, Repair Light Fittings, Extractor Fans, etc.
EXAMPLE: Gas Safety Certificates, Boiler Repairs & Replacements, Central Heating Power Flush, etc.
EXAMPLE: Investigate & Repair Lighting Faults, Plumbing Investigations, Electric Investigations, etc.

SCOPED JOB RATES
Typically apply for large jobs: for renovations, refurbishments, installation projects and most jobs taking longer than 8 hours.
In this case, an estimator or tradesman will come out to visit you and your property,
discuss your needs and specifications and we will then provide a detailed scope of works and fixed price quote to get it done.
The cost to complete work that has been quoted for will not change unless the scope of work changes.
If a tradesman has been booked to attend a property as ‘Time on site’ to carry out a job,
and is then required to provide a scope of work, the time taken to investigate, write the scope and quote will be charged.
